The course is designed to help you achieve the most out of your learning by providing the background knowledge via self-directed online learning prior to the hands-on implant placement days, to be able to transfer the theory straight into everyday clinical practice.

To support the practical hands-on training, Dr Jam has developed ten educational webinars for online self-directed learning.
These webinars are designed to build the foundational knowledge and understanding needed for delegates to fully engage with and gain the maximum benefit from the hands-on training.

The practical training days combine demonstrations, lectures with supervised hands-on experience. Delegates will gain experience in dental implant placements, intelligent drilling protocols, hands-on restorative implant procedures, working with the intra-oral scanners, and hands-on hard tissue augmentation with biomaterials. Also covered are strategies for growing an implant-focused practice.

By the end of the programme, delegates will have the knowledge, practical skills, and confidence to begin managing and carrying out straightforward implant dentistry cases supported by ongoing mentoring and guidance from Dr Jam. Clinicians will develop competence in case assessment, treatment planning, implant placement, and restorative procedures within a structured learning environment.

Drawing on his experience teaching on other courses, Dr Jam has carefully designed this programme to offer a more comprehensive and supportive learning experience.
This programme teaches the clinical skills necessary for a beginner to enter the implant dentistry field with mentoring guidance.
Learn the theory before attending "hands-on" days

Short answer: No
YES!
Lots of simple cases required bone grafting, it's not commonly taught on other courses. You need to be confident and able to perform a good quality GBR.
NO!
We have had delegates that have been on two-year long courses and on exit havbe placed only fie dental implants, they do not feel confident and don't know how to perform GBR.
Then they came on our course and now they have gone from simple placements to full arch cases within three years!
You should consider:
WHERE IS THE TREATMENT PLANNING ASSESSMENT?
HOW CAN YOU MAINTAIN THE IMPLANT YOU PLACED?
HOW CAN YOU RESTORE THE IMPLANT YOU PLACED?
IF THE IMPLANT FAILS, WILL YOU EVER KNOW?
HOW DO YOU EVER LEARN FROM YOUR CASES?
We always recommed two implant trained dental nurses (one sterile, one non-sterile). We have our lovely team on hand to assist if required and we can help train nurses if needed.
Yes absolutely, this is a GDC and inemnity requirement. Mentoring is included in our programme.
Yes. The course is designed to get you straight into practice, performing consultation on your own patients and booking simple implant cases to begin.
We send a full list prior to your placement days with all equipment and materials you will need, including websites and companies you can order from.
We work with lots of different implant systems too!
Join the next course starting in September 2026 or book a place on the Taster day on 27June 2026
